The Florida A&M men’s basketball team got a 24-point performance from the bench, but fell 81-54 to the Nebraska Cornhuskers on the road Thursday.
The Rattlers (0-2) had two players score in double figures, led by K’Jei Parker, who had 13 points and six rebounds. Morrell Schramm tacked on 10 points from the bench and Hantz Louis-Jeune added eight points and two blocks.

Nebraska kept widening its lead after intermission, constructing a 60-31 advantage before Florida A&M went on a 5-0 run, finished off by Miles Hall’s layup, to shrink the deficit to 60-36 with 10:54 to go in the contest. Nebraska responded and outscored the Rattlers the rest of the way, ending the game with a final score of 81-54. Florida A&M got a boost from its bench in the period, as non-starters accounted for 15 of its 29 total points.
